Search crews for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 still haven’t found the complete plane, but they have found another major vessel at the bottom of the Indian Ocean: a shipwreck likely from the 19th century.
Sonar first picked up on the unusual object in December, and a second expedition went back to the spot this month to discover what was underwater, CNN reports. The images obtained indicate a steel or iron ship made in the early 1800s.
This is the second time the MH370 search crews have discovered a 19th-century shipwreck while looking for the plane that disappeared in March 2014 with 239 passengers on board.
Last summer, a flaperon that washed ashore on Reunion Island was determined to be from the plane.
