It’s an understatement to state that Donald Trump has struggled with women in this election. From saying women should be punished for having abortions to picking fights with Megyn Kelly and the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape, the GOP nominee and his team have done little to endear himself to women. Now, on the eve of America electing a new president, a Trump staffer has shared another offensive and outdated statement on women.
Amid reports that Miami-Dade County — crucial in deciding Florida’s outcome — is leaning away from Trump after high turnout from Latino early voters, Brad Parscale, digital director for the Trump campaign, offered a unique take on forecasting Tuesday’s outcome. “It’s like predicting your wife’s mood,” he told Bloomberg Politics. “You have no idea what you’re going to get until you get home.”
Not surprisingly, many people took issue with Parscale’s statement:
Hillary Clinton super-PAC chief Guy Cecil had his own thoughts about the hypothetical “wife”:
With people like Pascale leading Trump’s campaign, it’s no wonder the candidate has made no inroads with women. Just one more day, folks.
