Philip J. Hanlon
Hanlon is a mathematician and computer scientist who served as the 19th President of Dartmouth and the 13th Provost of the University of Michigan. He was the 10th Dartmouth alumnus to serve as its president . His tenure focused on bringing Dartmouth “into the modern era” by enriching graduate learning and creating interdisciplinary links across departments as well as enhancing student inclusion
