When is Black Friday?

This year, Black Friday falls on November 29, the day after Thanksgiving, which comes late (just a few days before December and the rev-up to the holiday season) in 2024. When the Black Friday sales start is up to the individual retailers; some early ones begin a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving, and others begin on turkey day itself. Then, you have Black Friday deals that start at midnight; others begin in the early morning on actual Black Friday, the 29. Deals end at different times, too, with some ending on Saturday while others last throughout the weekend and even into Cyber Monday.

If you already have your shopping list and are ready to find the best deals on toys (or anything else!), it’s always best to act quickly. Retailers often have limited stock of Black Friday sale items, so even if you plan to buy something before the retailer’s sale ends, you may miss out on the deal if the item sells out. Pro tip: Black Friday is not the time to let things linger in your virtual shopping cart if you purchase presents online.

What deals should I expect on toys?
